Alpha Garlic Farms Started growing Garlic in 1993 and each year since has increased the production and quality of our crops as experience and demand has dictated.

We are currently growing Hardneck Varieties: German White, German Red and Spanish Roja Garlic.

Our emphasis is on growing a large bulb with large cloves, while retaining the medicinal and flavorful benefits. Our bulbs are very hardy and with the proper storage should remain in excellent condition for months. While our garlic is of the highest quality planting stock it should not be overlooked as a gourmet treat for your dining pleasure. Our garlic is grown in a natural high organic manner with no pesticides, we do use man made fertilizers on occasions that the soil requires. Our farm, a comparatively small family farm, consists of 120 acres, not all of which is currently in garlic , but about 60 acres lends itself to that practice. We are located in the Mohawk Valley of New York Sate where our well drained soils, climate and rainfall are ideal for garlic cultivation.
